This is an excellent opportunity to listen to several hours of our contry people's poetry.

The cantadera is a gathering of several cantadores de mejorana or decima singers. They take turns singing verses about a given topic. Sometimes, the cantadera becomes a competition between them and usually it takes the form of an exchange of taunts among the cantadores. The public really enjoys when this happens.

The cantaderas.used to be held on the afternoon. However, in the last few years they have been starting later and then are followed by an accordion band performance.
