When we heard about El Valle, we usually think of tourism and nice sceneries. However, there is an important community of artists living and working there.

Mr. Jorge Alberto Santana Sánchez is a locally known painter who specializes in decorating bird's feathers with miniature images of local landmarks such as La India Dormida hill.

There is also Mrs. Lilia Arquines, who is a floriculturist. She has nurtured a hobby practiced at her backyard into a small business that serves customers even from neighboring provinces.

These two artists are only a small sample of the many talented Valleros who contribute to make El Valle a very interesting tourist destination in Panama.
